For 3daysofdesign 2026 in Copenhagen, we created an imaginative world of games and recreation that people could touch, play with and enjoy to experience the joy of design. The Playroom exhibition was the result of a collaboration between three Finnish design brands. Curated and designed by Jussi Laine of Nemo Architects, it also featured contributions from Finarte and Johanna Gullichsen.
Based on Jussi’s idea, we created games using materials provided by the exhibitors. Visitors competed enthusiastically in these games over the course of the three-day event.
In the Playroom we also launched new Durat Palapeli shelf, which was designed by celebrated Finnish designer Harri Koskinen. We also presented the smart little Pikkupikku sink, which was designed by Jesse Pietilä. It was created with the smallest washing rooms in mind.

Harri Koskinen was present at the launch event of his new Palapeli shelf.

We offered our guests delicious lunches prepared by wild food guru Sami Tallberg.

Donation for the Baltic Sea
During the daily playhour, participants earned points which were added to a shared donation fund for the Baltic Sea initiatives of the John Nurminen Foundation.
At the end of each session, the competitor who had collected the most points got to decide where the donation pot, converted into euros, would be directed via the Save a Piece of the Baltic Sea website.
